You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving reasons.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier take(s) possession of the goods. If you have ordered different goods as part of the same order and these are to be delivered separately, the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier take(s) possession of the final goods from that order. If you have ordered goods of a single type which are to be delivered in multiple partial consignments or units, the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier take(s) possession of the final partial consignment or the final unit from that order. If you have ordered goods which are to be delivered at regular intervals over a defined period, the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier take(s) possession of the first consignment of goods from that order.
In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us (WDI EMAC GmbH, Industriestrasse 25a, 22880 Wedel, tel.: +49 4103 1800-0, fax: +49 4103 1800-200, email: firstname.lastname@example.org) regarding your decision to cancel this contract by sending a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). If you make use of this option, then we will send you confirmation of receipt of your cancellation immediately (e.g. by email).
The right of cancellation does not apply to deliveries of
a) goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which individual selection or designation by you is definitive,
b) goods which are clearly tailored to your personal requirements,
c) goods in sealed packaging which cannot be returned due to reasons relating to the protection of health or hygiene if the sealed packaging was opened after delivery (e.g. electric toothbrushes),
d) audio or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging if the sealed packaging was opened after delivery,
e) newspapers, journals and magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.
If you cancel this contract, we will have to refund you any payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs that arise as a result of you choosing a different method of delivery to the most economical standard delivery method that we offer), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification regarding your intention to cancel this contract. That refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; on no account will you have to pay any additional amounts on account of that refund. We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods returned or until you can provide proof of returning the goods, whichever is sooner.
You are required to return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which you notify us regarding your intention to cancel this contract. The deadline will be deemed to have been met if you dispatch the goods before the end of the fourteen-day period. You will pay the direct costs involved in returning the goods. By way of deviation from this arrangement, we will pay the costs involved in returning the goods in the case of goods which are suitable for dispatch as a package if you return them using the return slip provided or if you – if no return slip is provided – use the return slip provided by us on request. If you are returning goods which are not suitable for dispatch as a package, the maximum cost of returning them will be estimated at around the amount specified for shipping costs for the original delivery. In the case of goods which are not suitable for dispatch as a package, we can organise for them to be picked up from you on request. If that is what you require, please contact us. If you make use of this option, the costs for returning the goods that you will have to pay will correspond to the amount specified for delivery.
You will only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods if that diminished value is attributable to handling by you which is not necessary in order to ascertain the quality, properties and functionality of the goods.
